Serafeim Moustakidis (CTO)

Dr. Serafeim Moustakidis is a highly experienced expert in computational intelligence, machine learning, and data processing, with over 12 years of research experience spanning multiple fields, including healthcare, energy optimization, and object detection. His work focuses on the development of advanced AI algorithms, particularly in predictive maintenance and object detection, applying deep learning to enhance the accuracy and reliability of systems across diverse industries. In the context of predictive maintenance, Serefeim has been instrumental in developing models that utilize data-driven insights to forecast equipment failures, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency, whether in energy systems or industrial applications. In the field of object detection, his contributions are equally impactful, where his AI-driven algorithms are applied to applications ranging from autonomous drones to healthcare imaging and surveillance systems. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in the technical implementation and management of 40 R&D projects, with a cumulative budget of 57 million Euros, and has successfully secured over €19.2 million in European funding (FP7 and Horizon2020). His cross-disciplinary expertise and leadership make him a key figure in applying AI solutions to real-world challenges across a wide range of sectors.

Patrik Karlsson, (CFO)

Patrik holds a MSc. in Materials Science from Uni of Nancy. Has worked for several years at Fraunhofer Institute on Electron beam/Plasma techniques. He has been involved in numerous Industrial Research projects and more than 20 years in EC funded projects. Has participated and lead more than 52 Research & Innovation Projects (being the coordinator of three) of a total budget greater than €105 million. Research involved nanotech&advanced materials, eLearning, AAL&rehabilitation, wearable sensors, WSN for agriculture, robotics & mechatronics, NDT, machine learning for defect detection and classification. In addition to his strong PM and technical background he also has significant financial and exploitation expertise.

Konstantinos Stergiou, (AI/ML Engineer)

Konstantinos Stergiou is a highly skilled ML engineer with a strong background in machine learning, specializing in implementing AI-driven solutions for predictive maintenance and object detection. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree in “Econophysics and Financial Predictions” from the University of Thessaly. Currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Thessaly, Konstantinos focuses on forecasting energy resource availability using advanced data analysis and machine learning algorithms. His expertise lies in building and deploying deep learning models, particularly Neural Networks, using Python, as well as having proficiency in R and Matlab. Konstantinos has a deep understanding of MLOps, enabling him to streamline the development and deployment of AI models for large-scale applications. His work in predictive maintenance leverages data-driven techniques to predict failures and optimize system performance, while his experience in object detection contributes to the development of real-time AI solutions across various domains.
