Demokritos

The National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (NCSRD, www.demokritos.gr) is the largest multidisciplinary research organisation in Greece, structured in five Institutes carrying out research at the frontline of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, Energy & Environment, Biosciences, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Informatics & Telecommunications.
NCSRD participates in MERLIN project through the involvement of the Membranes and Materials for Environmental Separations Laboratory (Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) and the Environmental Research Laboratory (Institute of Nuclear & Radiological Sciences & Technology, Energy & Safety), possessing a well-established expertise in key hydrogen technologies with emphasis on the development and testing of hydrogen storage and hydrogen compression solutions and their integration into power systems.
